River Lime
In Dominica to "Lime" means to "free up yourself", have some fun and enjoy being alive.
The River Lime is an educational and fun day where you learn about the local herbs, flowers, plants, fruits and root crops grown on the island.
We will explain the culinary uses of some of these plants and how they are prepared locally.
Later we take you by a river for the real River Lime, where you can observe a local "cook up" (that is how we prepare some of our meals)
You can swim, frolic, explore and play games in the river and of course you get to eat some of the foods you have been learning about!!.
This activity is ideal for families and groups
